Top 7 PC Repair Providers in Singapore (2027 Guide)

⚡ The short version: There is no single best PC repair shop in Singapore for 2027. The right one depends on what you own and where you live. For a desktop tower in town, bring it to us at Bugis Street. In the East, PhoneDoctor at Parkway Parade in Marine Parade handles laptops, MacBooks and our desktop repairs under one roof. The other five on this list are independent shops that fit better in specific situations, and we say which.

Most “top repair shop” lists are written by people who have never opened a PC. This one is written by a repair bench. We fix desktops every day at Bugis Street, and we regularly see machines that have already been through another shop, so we have a fair idea of who does careful work and who quotes a new motherboard for a loose RAM stick.

A disclosure before the list: two of the seven are not neutral picks. Number 1 is our own shop, and number 2 is PhoneDoctor Parkway Parade, where Budget PC’s Marine Parade repair service operates. We have put them first because we can vouch for the work. The other five are independent businesses. We have no commercial relationship with any of them, and their details below come from their own published information, checked in October 2026.

This guide is about desktops: towers, gaming PCs, all-in-ones and iMacs. If your problem is a laptop, use our top 7 laptop repair providers guide instead.

1. Budget PC Singapore (Bugis Street)

This is us, so read it with that in mind. We build, refurbish and stress-test desktops all day, which means a tower that will not boot is ordinary work here and not a special case. Our Bugis repair bench handles branded desktops and custom builds: no power, no display, overheating, graphics card faults, Windows problems, upgrades and data recovery.

Most desktop repairs land between $40 and $80, and every price is published on our PC repair services page. Diagnosis is free when you go ahead with the repair, we confirm the exact price before any work starts, and no fix means no fee. Every repair carries a warranty.

Where: Bugis Street #CFL A08 (behind the DBS ATM), Singapore 189876. Open daily, 11am to 8pm. WhatsApp 9131 8317.

Best for: desktop towers, gaming PCs and self-built machines.

Worth knowing: desktops are what we are best known for, but we repair laptops at Bugis too. For those, see our laptop repair guide.

2. PhoneDoctor Parkway Parade (Marine Parade)

If you live in the East, PhoneDoctor Parkway Parade saves you a trip into town. It is where our own Marine Parade computer repair service runs, so desktop towers are handled there at the same prices as our Bugis bench. The mall’s multi-storey car park and lift make it one of the easier places in Singapore to carry a full-size tower into.

Despite the name, the shop also repairs laptops, MacBooks and phones, with a fixed quote before work starts and a 90-day warranty on laptop and MacBook repairs. That makes it the practical choice when a household has more than one broken device.

Where: Parkway Parade #B1-45, 80 Marine Parade Road, Singapore 449269, a short walk from Marine Parade MRT (TE26). Open daily, 11am to 9pm, including public holidays. WhatsApp 9777 7509.

Best for: anyone in Marine Parade, Katong, Joo Chiat, Siglap or Bedok, and households with a mix of desktops, laptops and phones to sort out in one visit.

Worth knowing: walk-ins only, no appointments. If you cannot bring a tower in yourself, WhatsApp the shop to ask about pickup.

3. Volta PC Upgrade & Repair (Tai Seng)

Volta has been repairing computers in Singapore for well over a decade, covering desktops, custom builds and data recovery alongside laptops. Its ground-floor unit lets you park right outside the door, which matters more than it sounds when your PC weighs 15kg. Diagnosis is free for out-of-warranty devices, and its published price list shows desktop repair from $95.

One point that confuses people: Volta used to trade as “Budget PC Upgrade & Repair”. It is a separate company and has no connection to Budget PC Singapore.

Where: 8 Burn Road #01-04, Trivex, Singapore 369977, about five minutes on foot from Tai Seng MRT.

Best for: drivers with a heavy tower, and anyone living around Tai Seng, Paya Lebar or MacPherson.

Worth knowing: at the time of writing it is closed on Wednesdays, Sundays and public holidays, so check the hours before you travel.

4. The Repair Hospital (Aljunied)

The Repair Hospital has been trading since 2012. Laptops are its main business, but it also takes desktop PCs and game consoles such as the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation, which makes it a practical stop for a household of gamers. It is a government registered vendor and runs repair, collection and on-site servicing for schools and offices.

Where: ATRIX, 82 Lorong 23 Geylang #06-12, Singapore 388409, near Aljunied MRT. Open Monday to Saturday, 11am to 7pm. There is also a drop-off point in Clementi (Blk 328 Clementi Avenue 2), by appointment only.

Best for: consoles alongside a PC, schools and offices that need a registered vendor, and people in the West who can use the Clementi drop-off.

Worth knowing: closed on Sundays and public holidays. Its website does not state a diagnosis fee, so ask when you book, and confirm they can take your tower before you carry it up.

5. Come To Repair (Far East Plaza, Orchard)

If your “PC” is actually an iMac or a Mac mini, this is the specialist on the list. Come To Repair is run by Apple-certified Mac and iOS technicians, and repairs are done face to face at the counter, so you can watch your own machine being opened. Diagnosis is free and comes with a price before you commit. It also takes Windows desktops.

Where: Far East Plaza #01-80, 14 Scotts Road, Singapore 228213, a short walk from Orchard MRT. Open 12pm to 7:30pm.

Best for: iMacs and Mac minis, and anyone who wants to see the repair being done.

Worth knowing: closed on Wednesdays, and it opens at noon, so do not plan a morning visit.

6. PC Dreams (Bugis Junction)

PC Dreams has traded since 2005 and holds ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certification, covering quality and data security. Diagnosis is free and there is no charge if they cannot fix it. Where it stands out is the exit route: if your machine is not worth repairing, it will buy it or take it as a trade-in and sell you a refurbished replacement in the same visit.

Where: Bugis Junction #03-25, 200 Victoria Street, Singapore 188021. Open daily, 11am to 8pm. There is also a drop-off and collection point at Sim Lim Square #03-40.

Best for: older machines where you suspect replacement may be the smarter call.

Worth knowing: its focus is portable devices. Message them before carrying a desktop tower over.

7. Chan Repair Specialist (Potong Pasir)

A small walk-in counter that takes desktops as well as portable devices, served first come, first served. A free diagnostic and a hardware clean come with every repair, and it advertises a 24-hour express service for motherboards hit by water damage or sudden shutdowns.

Where: The Poiz Centre #01-08, 51 Upper Serangoon Road, Singapore 347697, at Potong Pasir MRT Exit C. Open Monday to Saturday, 11:30am to 8:30pm.

Best for: quick fixes for people living along the North East Line.

Worth knowing: closed on Sundays, and as a small shop it can get busy, so go early in the day.

How we chose these seven

Every shop here has a physical counter you can walk back to, several years of trading behind it, and published contact details and opening hours. Beyond that we picked for spread, so that most of Singapore has an option within a few MRT stops, and so that custom desktops, Apple desktops and business support are each covered by at least one specialist.

We have deliberately not quoted star ratings. They change every week, and a shop’s rating tells you less than how it answers the five questions further down. Look each shop up on Google Maps on the day and read the most recent reviews, especially the bad ones and how the shop replied.

What should a desktop repair cost in 2027?

Among the shops above that publish prices, common desktop jobs start somewhere between $40 and $95, plus parts. Cleaning, upgrades and Windows reinstalls sit at the low end. No-power faults and graphics card repairs cost more because finding the fault takes longer. Our own price for each job is on the PC repair services page, and you can use it as a yardstick for any quote you are given.

Parts are extra wherever you go, and memory and SSD prices have climbed sharply this year. Our RAM and SSD price guide explains why an upgrade quote from early 2026 may no longer hold.

Five questions to ask before you hand over your PC

  1. What does diagnosis cost if I decide not to repair? “Free diagnosis” sometimes means free only if you proceed. Get the number first.
  2. Will you confirm the exact price before starting? A range is fine at the counter. A final figure should come before any part is fitted.
  3. Can this be repaired instead of replaced? A dead fan, a failed power supply or dried thermal paste does not need a new motherboard or graphics card.
  4. What warranty covers the repair, and for how long? Ask whether it covers the part, the labour or both.
  5. What happens to my data? Back up first if the PC still boots. If it does not, ask whether the repair involves wiping the drive.

Before you go anywhere, it is worth ten minutes with our PC won’t turn on troubleshooting guide. About half of dead-PC cases turn out to be a cable, a switch or a monitor input.

Repair or replace?

Our rule of thumb: if the repair costs more than about half the price of a comparable tested desktop, replacing usually makes more sense. A single failed part in an otherwise healthy PC is almost always worth fixing. An eight-year-old machine that needs a board, a drive and more memory is not. If you end up on the replace side, you can trade in the old PC against a tested refurbished office PC or gaming PC.
