What is FPS? (Frames Per Second)
FPS measures how many individual images your PC draws each second. Higher FPS = smoother motion and faster reaction times in games.
What the numbers mean
30 FPS is playable but choppy. 60 FPS is smooth for casual gaming. 144+ FPS is the competitive standard for esports titles like Valorant and CS2 — but you also need a 144Hz monitor to see the benefit.
What determines your FPS?
Mostly your GPU, then your CPU (especially in esports titles) and game settings. Our entry builds hit 144+ FPS in esports at 1080p; mid-tier builds like the RTX 3070 handle AAA games at 1440p. Technologies like DLSS can boost FPS significantly for free.
